🚀 BNCS SEASON 4 — FULL RELEASE
Season 4 officially launches this Friday, September 5.
This update represents a major expansion of the BNCS platform, bringing competitive rankings, player progression, website systems, interactive features, and a new season of tournaments together in one place.
Here is everything launching with Season 4.
🏆 SEASON 4 COMPETITIVE
BNCS Season 4 introduces a new season of official competitive events focused primarily around Duos, while continuing to feature Solo, Trio, and experimental formats.
Throughout the season, players will compete in official tournaments, build their competitive record, and work toward qualifying for the Season 4 Championship.
The season will also feature experimental events designed to test new formats and expand competitive play within BuildNowGG.
📈 PR — PERFORMANCE RANKING
The official BNCS PR System launches with Season 4.
Players earn PR through their tournament performance.
Each tournament will be assigned a PR multiplier when it is announced:
1× — Standard
2× — Increased
5× — Major
PR will be tracked throughout the season and will contribute toward the official Season 4 PR leaderboard.
The player with the most PR at the end of the season will receive the Season PR Award, including a $25 prize.
⭐ OVR RANKINGS
BNCS OVR is the official competitive rating for individual players.
OVR is not simply calculated from accumulated points. Competitive Staff will evaluate player performances based on the specifics of each tournament and determine which players are deserving of an official rating.
OVR rankings will be reviewed weekly and are capped at:
99 OVR
Not every player will automatically receive an OVR.

SOLO
Elimination: 5 Points

DUO
Elimination: 2 Points

🥉 3rd — 7
TRIO
Trio events will use a 12-player lobby, resulting in 4 teams.
Placement scoring will account for all four teams.
🔒 ELIMINATION CAP
All game modes have a 25 elimination cap.
🧪 EXPERIMENTAL EVENTS
Season 4 will introduce more experimental competitive formats alongside traditional BNCS tournaments.
Potential formats include:

🧪 Experimental formats
🎯 Special events
👥 Alternative team formats
These events allow BNCS to test new ideas and determine what belongs in future seasons.
Designated preseason/test events will not award PR.
👑 SEASON 4 CHAMPIONSHIP
The season will conclude with the BNCS Season 4 Championship.
The Championship will feature:
5 DUOS
10 PLAYERS
Players will qualify through dedicated Championship Qualifiers near the end of the season.
There will be 5 qualification events, with the winning Duo from each event earning a Championship position.
Once all five qualifiers are complete:
5 Duos → 10 Players → Season 4 Championship
Normal BNCS Cups will pause during the qualification period so the community can focus entirely on the road to the Championship.
